Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.
After waking up early at your lodge as you prepare for a morning game drive around Serengeti national park. You will look out for wildlife species like lions, leopards, rhinos, impalas, giraffes, buffalos, antelopes, hippos, kudu, dik dik, elephants among others. You will have lunch after your morning game drive.
You will engage in another game drive around Serengeti national park on the 2nd day of your safari as you search for wildlife species like the big 5 as you enjoy the safari in the national park. You will return to your lodge after your game drive for dinner and overnight
Early morning game drive at Serengeti. After breakfast will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and go for an afternoon a Nature Walk (depending on weather conditions) at the Northern Crater Rim of Ngorongoro Crater inhabited by buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys and different species of birds. Escorted by a ranger or Maasai Guide you follow animal paths through dense.
After breakfast we depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season.
The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive.
We enjoy an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park, followed by breakfast at the lodge. We will then transfer the airport ready to transfer to Zanzibar
At the island you will be received and transferred by road and later by boat to the stunning MnembaIsland Lodge. This Lodge is located on an private island only 4.5 km / 2.8 miles off Zanzibar’s northeastern tip. in the blue Indian Ocean.
